James Turk Believes Liberty Can Survive in America With a Return to a Gold Dollar

He sees a 50% chance warring tyrants will fail and civility will be restored with honest money.

James Turk, Founder of GoldMoney.com

James Turk is the Founder of GoldMoney.com and also its Lead Director. He not only foresaw a digital monetary future before anyone else, but he knew that for the good of human relations worldwide, such a system would need need honest money in the form of physical gold as the common currency. In 1997 James was awarded two patents to do exactly that.

The U.S. Constitution defined the dollar in terms of a set amount of gold and silver. Had self-serving politicians and bankers stuck with Constitutional money, America would not be on the verge of financial ruin as it is now.

In the “Fourth Turning” James was surprisingly optimistic about our chances of returning to honest money in the form of gold or silver. He believes there are three outcomes likely to take shape in America in the next year or two. Those three outcomes are:

  • 20% - A financial collapse of the dollar and a hyper-inflationary event akin to the German hyper-inflation that led to Hitler.

  • 30% - The elites will hang on to control and find increasing tyrannical policies to further enslave the middle class more in line with the Venezuelan tragedy that turned that country from the richest country in south America to arguably the poorest.

  • 50% - A return to constitutional money in the form of gold and/or silver that would hamper the ability of politicians to play Americans off against each other by distributing money created out of thin air to political friends and using it to punish political enemies.

Of course, with only a 50% chance of restoring honest money and hence liberty and an even-playing field for all Americans, neither of the other two alternative range from very bad to hellish. For that reason James notes that history is full of examples where owning gold was a life saving asset. There are no guarantees that gold will prove to be a savior in this life. Indeed, in the French Revolution for example, farmers who demanded gold for the sale of their produce because the currency was worthless were put to the guillotine. Tyrants do whatever they want.

In his talk, James suggests a 50% probability that the U.S. and the global economy will reset to an honest and technically updated monetary system based on gold. However, he also suggests a 20% likelihood that rulers of this world may kick the can down the road straight into a hyper-inflationary environment like Germany in the 1930s or 30% chance our leaders will hold on to power by increasing totalitarian measures that will totally destroy the middle class, more like the current socialist poverty-stricken Venezuela.

James is focused on what lies ahead during this critical juncture in history. Rightfully so because each of us need to do the best we can to help our friends and relatives survive in these increasingly turbulent times. What the future in this life holds is uncertain. As long as we are alive gold is likely the best form of savings for a “rainy day.” But one thing we can be 100% sure of, everyone reading this will one day die. What happens then? For those willing to consider promises made to all humans, regardless of race, creed or color by our Creator God, you are welcome to join me and Mrs. Taylor every Sunday morning at Christ Lutheran Church in Woodside, Queens in person or on line here for some answers to the biggest question of all!
